Meet Coach Dave

For more than 30 years, Coach Dave has coached baseball and softball players at the junior high, high school, and college levels.

A former Division I baseball player and four-year starter at Western Illinois University, he was also a team captain and All- Conference player. Over the years, he's helped hundreds of young players improve their skills and become better hitters. Coach Dave has seen firsthand what can happen when a young hitter gets the right coaching at the right time. He's also seen how easily young players can become frustrated when they're given too much information without a clear plan.

That's why he created Youth Hitting Academy to give baseball and softball players ages 10–13 a simple, step-by-step approach
to learning and developing their hitting.

Today, through Game-Ready Hitter Academy, Coach Dave takes that approach further by personally guiding each hitter
through their development with individualized coaching, feedback, and support.

What Parents Are Saying

George, Parent of 10-year-old

Since working with Coach Dave, we've seen noticeable improvements in both my son's confidence and performance at the plate. Just as importantly, he's enjoying the process and looks forward to getting better.

Tim E., Parent of 13-year-old

When my 13-year-old son started working with Coach Dave, we quickly noticed improvements in his stance, approach, and confidence at the plate. Within a week, we could already see a difference. By the end of his school baseball season, he led the team in most offensive categories and carried that confidence into summer baseball, where he was making solid contact and having more fun than ever. What we appreciated most was Coach Dave's step-by-step approach and his ability to explain the ‘why’ behind each drill.

Tim N., Parent of 12-year-old

I really appreciate you working with my son. He’s shown more growth over the past two sessions than he did over the previous two years of lessons. .........................xdchgkajsdhfksf
